METALUBE® was established in 1989 by Managing Director, David Lee. The company is headquartered in Irlam, Manchester, United Kingdom where it has a fully integrated lubricant manufacturing facility including state-of-the-art laboratories.

Today, METALUBE® is a manufacturer of speciality industrial lubricants. The business was built around the production of lubricants for drawing non-ferrous wire and tubes and our Lubricool™, Alumol™, and Tubol™ products still remain a key part of the portfolio. OCG™, a range of protective greases for overhead line conductors is a more recent addition to the core product line, as well as , a range of metal cutting fluids.

METALUBE® lubricants are created and produced on site, in Manchester, by a highly experienced team of chemists and blenders. Alongside our significant range of core products, we are fortunate to have chemists who can produce bespoke lubricant solutions for very specific applications. Our long experience in designing sophisticated high-quality industrial lubricants, combined with our short turnaround times and manufacturing flexibility, makes us unique within the market.

It is our belief that METALUBE® has more highly skilled specialists in its core sector than any of its competitors. Because of this, we can provide quality after-sales support, working alongside customers to ensure that they achieve peak performance and efficiency from all our products.

Although UK based, METALUBE® exports 95% of its production to over 80 countries worldwide. To help METALUBE® further develop its network of distributors and end users we have sales offices located in Shanghai and Dong Guang in China and in Mumbai, India. As our customer base grows we aim to develop our presence in other international markets.
