Metal forming fluids – a range of lubricants and rust preventatives for the roll forming, cutting and pressing of metallic parts
A range of metal forming products comprised of three product groups: Cool-Tek™ - water-dilutable concentrates for lubrication during forming and cutting processes, Sol-Tek™ - evaporative lubricants and Meta-Shield™ - solvent-based rust preventatives.
The range contains products for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals including galvanised steel. The carefully selected lubricity and detergency additives in the Cool-Tek™ range provide effective lubrication, excellent fines handling, superior cleanliness (resulting in extended roll/tool life), excellent surface finish and corrosion protection. The Meta-Shield™ range of rust preventatives is designed to be used in conjunction with the Cool-Tek™ products and offers impeccable protection for bundled sections for up to 24 months.
Sol-Tek™ products are evaporative in nature, this eliminates water from the forming process reducing the risk of corrosion and means that parts dry with no need for cleaning or subsequent treatment.
