Has all the properties of Alumol™ 145, but is formulated to have a higher lubricating film strength to cope with the high temperatures which result when mechanical alloys are drawn. It is also preferred when electrical grade aluminium is drawn and lubricant temperatures are high. Surface finish is reportedly enhanced by the use of Alumol™ 195, and often machine speeds can be increased.
